A One-day training on First Aid for Bikers

As earlier publicised on our social media handles, in conjunction with Aid to Aid international we set out to train fellow motorcyclists on the basics and importance of first aid.

The event was sponsored by our good brethren at Motul and Wajgee Automobiles limited. Thanks to these guys for the support and encouragement given to the cause.

On the 31st of march we set up and waited for riders to come in, a lot of engagements that day and as such traffic conditions and time constrictions delayed quite a number of people. As a result we kicked off late.

Once in session tho, the trainer took us all on several topics and how to handle emergencies on the road. Fractures, dehydration, shock, trauma, head injuries, burns, helmet removal and evacuation and pretty much all else that can be encountered at a motorcycle crash site.

T'was quite enlightening. A lot of things previously taken for granted were straightened out and attendees were equipped with the basics with which to face an injured rider and prevent further injuries/preserve a life.

Afterwards, participants were well entertained and a lot of freebies given...Below are the pictures.
