Last weekend, the Bikers in Nigeria association (BIN) and Superbike Clubs Association of Nigeria (SCAN) in conjunction with Bikers Safety Initiative (BSi) hosted the entire country to a simultaneous nationwide safety campaign.
Despite the rains in most parts of the country, the turn out was massive as bikers trooped out in numbers to sensitize the general public on the proper use and co-habitation of the Nigerian roads.
As we all know these roads are not in optimal conditions and the message is to SAFELY share what little we have, with one another.
Yes we all are in a hurry to get to our different destinations, to make money, pick the kids, have a meeting or something equally important. Remember no matter how important it is, what is most important is arriving there alive and unscarred. Cyclists (bicycle riders), Motorcyclists (Yes! Okada riders too), Tricyclist (Keke napep aka the boys on 3) and even pedestrians all have equal rights of use of that road. #ShareTheRoad

This is a noble exercise and I do hope it will restore sanity on our roads as soon as possible. More wisdom to the organizers.
